Photo & Diary

  • Laundry Monster

My companion was doing laundry and I found our bathroom in this condition. Suddenly I realized the excessive amount of underwear we have jointly. To say we have a lot of underpants is honestly a huge understatement..

  • Looking at Myself

Oftentimes I look at images that I captured and I see myself. Once in a while literally..

  • We Two Are One

Against all odds, we are still here. Our bond has only grown stronger, if that’s even possible..

  • Instant Nostalgic Noodle

It seems the older I get, the more frequently I crave for food I grew up with..

  • Clouds on My Mind

I know, I know, I know… It doesn’t get easier if I keep waiting for the right moment. It was my idea to move here from New York. And It was a decision that stunned most of our friends. What happened last year changed something. On top of that, this country is on an uncertain path and the future looks grim as far as we can see.. I’m torn.. and something is got to happen..

  • Dancing on Its Own

Came back from a five-day trip yesterday and found so many plants in our yard have blossomed. Including this single yellow Mexican Hat flower, which to me looks like a ballerina dancing on its own..

  • I Left My Heart There

I left my heart there in San Francisco..

    We will be back..

  • Bakery in Chinatown

Bakeries like this have a power over me, even though I’ve learned not to cave in to the temptation over the years.

  • What We Are Searching For

“You seem sad. What can I do to make you happy?”

Out of the blue my companion asked me that. We were sitting at the Union Square for no particular reason after taking the cable car there from our hotel. I was thinking about the future and perhaps my face gave it away.

“I’m not sad.” I answered. It wasn’t a total lie, but I know he didn’t believe me.

I let the opportunity slide. It’s not the time to start a heavy discussion, although for a second I seriously considered telling him then that the answer is right there, that he is looking at it.
