  • SkyFeast at Sydney Tower

    SkyFeast at Sydney Tower

The celebration continues. My companion booked in advance for a special dinner on the Sydney Tower. The whole floor spins continuously and slowly that you barely notice it. Needless to say the view of the cityscape was amazing..

On a side note, I have to admit that the images captured with my iPhone 16 Pro were far more impressive and hassle-free than the one I posted here..

  • Smiley Cat on My Matcha

    Smiley Cat on My Matcha

We still try to maintain our Sunday routine even when we are traveling. After our morning run and walk, we took it easy for the rest of the day and only went out for Lunch plus quick shopping. Inside the Kinokuniya Bookstore in walking distance from our hotel, there’s a tiny coffee shop. I ordered a matcha latte and had to capture it when it was brought to me. It’s one of the most elaborate creations I’ve ever seen.

  • Step by Step by Step..

    Step by Step by Step..

Sometimes life can seem endless steps ahead of us. And all we can do is keep moving forward, one step at a time..

Wherever you go, take me there with you. That’s all I ask of you..

  • Birthday Rainbows

    Birthday Rainbows

I had to cut my birthday run short this morning because it started to rain again when I was approaching 3 miles. It’s been like a tradition for me now that I’d run 5K on my birthday. I know I shouldn’t feel that way but it kind of bothered me that I couldn’t finish my run.

It’s the first morning since we arrived in Sydney. The sun had been teasing us the whole day. It rained on and off the major half of the day. I suppose because of that, we also witnessed multiple rainbows through out. I think I’ll take that as an auspicious sign for my birthday.

  • Greetings, Sydney!

    Greetings, Sydney!

Today we traveled from Brisbane to Sydney. The bird’s eye view of the city was spectacular.. We’re looking forward to exploring this destination, which has been on our bucket list for a while.

  • Repositioning Focal Point

    Repositioning Focal Point

Not sure how long it has been since I feel somewhat losing my focal point. As a consequence I often live in a state of confusion. I know that a decision has to be made and a hard conversation needs to take place. But it’s when that should happen frightens me…

  • Let the World Be

    Let the World Be

Today we went to a Koala sanctuary. I was skeptical when my companion suggested it. To be honest, I had much more fun there than I expected. And seeing my companion’s innocent smile filled my heart with joy and happiness. For a few hours we let the world be, and we immersed ourselves in this pure and simple moment, as if the outside world didn’t exist..

  • All is but a Dream of a Dream

All is but a Dream of a Dream

We came across this building and the facade caught my eye. It was composed of multiple layers of paper cutout-like silhouette in various colors with some looked like butterflies in 3D design.

  • Accumulative Desires

    Accumulative Desires

We were both combating jet lag of 16 hours, but overall it’s been a good day. The weather was pleasant and we walked quite a bit around the city of Brisbane. I crossed the river by myself on the Neville Bonner Bridge while my companion tried to rest a bit. Midway through, suddenly I questioned in my mind why I was doing what I was doing. “Am I doing this simply because that’s what other people do?”
