Although today’s temperature continues to be oppressively hot, I feel light and without restraint. That invisible heavy weight has vanished. While my companion was resting in our bedroom with the AC on, I sat alone outside on the porch watching the sunset slowly turn into night. It’s so beautiful.. and my heart is full of gratitude and hope.
