We have several Apache Plume shrubs in front of the entrance. I had seen this plant when we were tourists in Santa Fe and have associated it with New Mexico ever since. It was almost a sign for me during the time when we were searching for our future home and I spotted these plants right next to the garage. It’s one of the many other reasons why we chose Santa Fe and this specific house. It felt like such a long time ago now and that was a conscious decision for forever..
