  • Sunset Shadow

The sun was setting and suddenly I saw my own shadow on the wall. What would I say to me if I ever met myself?

  • Another April Sunset

It’s been a rather long day and I seem to be in Argentinian Time Zone still. I shall call it a day now..

  • Just Another Day

Was today just another day in the land of enchantment? Sometimes I try to find an answer in the sky. I try to decode the message that clouds intend to convey. The answer is never conclusive, but it always offers a degree of possibility, of hope..

  • The Greatest Magician

Ten minutes before I captured this image, the sky was almost gray even though there was a thin orange glow on the horizon. I was prepared to lower the blinds and accept that it was the end of the scene. Apparently it was a trick performed by the greatest magician. How could this be possible? I was stunned by this dramatic transformation..

  • Second Sunset in March

This is something I probably will never get tired of.

I’m talking about watching sunset. Whether I’m home or traveling, I look forward to witnessing the sunset at the end of each day..

  • Expected Mundaneness

As it turned out today, again, was one of those days that taught me to never expect anything. I know that oftentimes the more I try, the less I find.

We drove to one of our favorite spots to witness the sunset this afternoon. The image above was captured about 5 minutes before sunset. I knew it wasn’t going to be one of those spectacular sunsets that Santa Fe is known for having. On the other hand, it would be unrealistic to expect grandiose every single day.

  • At the End of the Day..

At the end of the day, what does it all matter? It seems more than ever now that so many things are beyond our control, beyond our comprehension.. I try to keep myself focused on the positives. However my mind apparently is not as strong as I wish it should be. I still let all these noises get into me..

    Something is got to change..

  • Sunset in Montreux

Today was a rather tough day for my companion. He admittedly said that he couldn’t truly enjoy anything during this trip and felt bad for me. I haven’t discussed it with him but I think it’s for the better if we reduce our traveling. All these endless activities have taken a toll on his health.. I must approach this topic with the utmost sensitivity..

  • The Last Walk of 2025.

The more I tried to make today’s post extra meaningful, the more struggle there seems to be. But time is just a human construct. There’s no real difference between yesterday, today or tomorrow.

Earlier today, as usual, I went out for a walk in the woods by myself. The sun was setting and the warm light shined through a gap of the trees. In that moment I caught my own shadow moving along. I paused, turned to face the shadow of myself, and captured this image.

  • At the End of the Day..

At the end of the day, nothing really matters.. This is today’s sunset seen from our backyard.
