Today has been quite a busy day. We gathered and gave away even more books this morning. My companion’s enthusiasm surprises me. Perhaps he has been ready for the change long before he realized himself.
I spent some time in our garden this afternoon trimming trees and cleaning up here and there. All the bird feeders were filled with fresh bird food and I already heard some birds singing. After all was done, I burned an incense and sat on an Adirondack chair. As I looked around, I felt content and happy. Oh how I have loved this place..
