Woke up this morning to some tragic news. Accidents and violence broke out around the world. Many people already presume that it’s going to be a tough year.. Still, life will go on, and we all need to somehow find a inner peace within our hearts.

We stayed two nights in Lugano at a lakefront hotel. This was the view from our room window. Looking out the window, I repeatedly reminded myself I should get out and take a walk along the lake. But it never happened. Deep down, I’m afraid that if I ever returned to this place, lots of things would be different. I would be by myself, looking back the years that we traveled together..

Before reaching our destination, the train stopped at Bellinzona Station. I noticed our train reflected on the glass walls of the elevator and another train in the background. The dimensions between them triggered my attention.

Passed by this local vendor on my walk today. No idea what they were selling since I don’t understand German. But it intrigued me to capture this image.

Captured from our train on the way back home. Layers of reality merged into one unique moment, which will never be repeated.
