  • To Let or Not to Let

Every spring we face this dilemma. We love birds. We have birdhouses set up all around our house. It’s not to prevent birds from nesting on top of our front door lamp. I know better than to think that would work.

So every spring when we see birds start building nest on top of the wall light by our front door, we have to make a decision if we should let them. Our hesitation to decide usually ends up with a bird nest completely built and we are too softhearted to take it down..

  • Sunset Shadow

The sun was setting and suddenly I saw my own shadow on the wall. What would I say to me if I ever met myself?

  • Still Standing

Before I knew it, I’ve spent most of the day doing research about NAS online. If I made a rushed decision, likely I would end up wasting money and time. There’s so much to consider and I’m learning along the way.

  • Smoke and Dust

We had Red Flag Warnings earlier today. On our way home around two o’clock this afternoon, we noticed that the mountains were almost invisible. Were they dust and/or smoke?

  • In the Eye of the Beholder

I’m a bit too tired to compose a post tonight. Instead, do you know what this asparagus looking thing is?

  • Small Wonders

These tiny white flowers are all over the place in our neighborhood. I couldn’t resist interrupting my walk today and capturing these small wonders*.

    * I believe they are Rose Heath (Chaetopappa Ericoides) and they seem to be extremely hardy..

  • Another April Sunset

It’s been a rather long day and I seem to be in Argentinian Time Zone still. I shall call it a day now..

  • Just Another Day

Was today just another day in the land of enchantment? Sometimes I try to find an answer in the sky. I try to decode the message that clouds intend to convey. The answer is never conclusive, but it always offers a degree of possibility, of hope..

  • Fuente de los Candados

Although my companion’s legs are bothering him, we still managed to visit a few places today. One of the places was Fuente de los Candados near the famous traditional bar/restaurant called Bar Facal. This fountain and its protective railings are covered in locks. One thing I found interesting was that the majority of the locks seemed to be really old and not many look like they were added recently..

Later when we got back to the hotel, I did some research about the fountain. The fountain was actually installed by the Bar Facal, and the owners imported it from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I had to smile when I learned about it.

  • The Greatest Magician

Ten minutes before I captured this image, the sky was almost gray even though there was a thin orange glow on the horizon. I was prepared to lower the blinds and accept that it was the end of the scene. Apparently it was a trick performed by the greatest magician. How could this be possible? I was stunned by this dramatic transformation..
