Today we finally went over to the newly completed Cerro Alto Trailhead. It’s only open to the public about five months ago. This trail is an extension to the Santa Fe Rail Trail system, which provides a wonderful scenic view of the historic town, Lamy.
I’m already considering running on this trail tomorrow..
Aimlessly driving around in Santa Fe County, we found this chapel at the end of the Old Las Vegas Highway. Our Lady of Light Church, located in Canoncito, was built in 1880 and is in fact a historic site. I truly appreciate its humble simplicity.
It happened to remind me today’s Daily Prompt on WordPress. Religion would have been on my list. I know that’s going to be controversial for many and I do respect most of the religions in the world that I’m aware of. If you think about how people can turn against each other and hurt someone they don’t even know simply because of the differences in their beliefs, you should be able to understand my sentiment..
