I realize that I’ve been eating a lot more Asian food lately. It seems the older I get, the more I crave for dishes that resemble what I had when I was younger. They remind me of my motherland and, of course, my mother. She lives by herself even though she has dementia; in my mind an embarrassing situation for my family.
